Muhabura Integrated Polytechnic College (MIPC) today took part in friendly games against Sunrise High School at the Sunrise playground
Muhabura Integrated Polytechnic College (MIPC) today took part in friendly games against Sunrise High School at the Sunrise playground. The event brought together students, staff, and school leaders from both institutions in a spirit of friendship and sportsmanship.
Three matches were played during the event. In Volleyball, the MIPC Staff team played against the Sunrise Staff team, with MIPC winning 3 sets to 0. The match was competitive and both teams showed strong effort and teamwork throughout the game.

In Basketball, MIPC students faced Sunrise High School students. MIPC won the game with 64 points against Sunrise’s 40 points. The players from both sides showed good skills, discipline, and determination.

The Football match ended with Sunrise High School defeating MIPC by 4 goals to 2 in an exciting game enjoyed by supporters from both schools.

The games highlighted unity, cooperation, and talent among students and staff from the two institutions. MIPC management noted that such friendly competitions help strengthen relationships between schools and promote collaboration through sports and education.

Later we had productive interaction session with Sunrise students, showcasing TVET programs MIPC offers at university, TSS and short courses.
The event was attended by MIPC management, staff members, students, and other invited guests, including the Ag. Principal of MIPC, MANZI Innocent, together with the principal of Sunrise High School.
