Stakeholders workshop 2024,MIPC and Singita Community Culinary School.

On 24th July, 2024, Muhabura Integrated Polytechnic College (MIPC) And Singita Community Culinary School (SCCS) held shareholders’ meeting, which is an opportunity for everyone in hospitality and tourism industry to share strategic objectives, contributing their expertise and experiences in the same business.

SCCS gives young adults (aged 18-24) who are selected from neighboring rural communities (Kinigi, Nyange and Cyuve Sectors) the opportunity to participate in an intensive Singita-crafted, chef development course and promotes professional cooking as a highly skilled career option that offers great prospects for both formal and self-employment and it helps students to expand their possibilities and secure much-needed skilled employment to support their families and communities.

In the meeting presented the preparations for 4th cohort for 10 students that are starting to apply from 25th July, 2024.

The present were representatives from Shyira Diocese, representing The Lord Bishop, the Northern Province Governor, Musanze district Vice mayor in charge of social affairs represented Mayor, Executive secretaries from 3 sectors, hotel managers, MIPC and Singita Management.
