Leadership Training and Key Lessons
The conference featured several insightful sessions led by experienced speakers and student leaders.
Leadership and Personal Growth
Dr. Pascal Hakiza delivered a powerful session on leadership, emphasizing that leadership is about positively influencing and guiding others toward growth and transformation. Participants learned that true leadership is based more on character, integrity, and personal values than on titles or positions.

The session also highlighted the difference between leaders and managers. Leaders focus on empowering people, building trust, taking responsibility, and creating long-term impact, while managers mainly focus on processes and maintaining stability.
Values-Based Leadership for Impact
Mr. William Kinunu spoke about the importance of values and good character in leadership. He encouraged participants to become role models by demonstrating integrity, respect, discipline, and responsibility in their daily lives.

Students learned that strong character builds trust and effective leadership, while negative behavior can negatively influence others.
Leadership Challenges and Opportunities on Campus
During a panel discussion led by Mr. Edison and other student leaders, participants discussed common challenges faced by student leaders, including peer pressure, balancing leadership responsibilities with academic activities, and communication barriers.
The panel encouraged students to develop time management skills, build supportive friendships, and improve communication abilities in order to become more effective leaders.
Mentorship and Collaboration Among Student Leaders
Mr. Shyaka Micheal emphasized the importance of mentorship, networking, and collaboration. He encouraged students to build meaningful relationships, actively seek opportunities, and work together for personal and professional growth.

Participants were reminded that opportunities often come through connections, teamwork, and willingness to serve others.
